About the Program


No. Our students have a diversity of academic backgrounds. The online master’s in finance program was designed to meet the needs of those with a finance background and those without.


This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Those who have studied finance elsewhere may be able to substitute more advanced courses.


The MS in Finance is a part-time program.


Students can complete the program in as little as two years when enrolled continuously in fall, spring, and summer.


Yes. The MS in Finance program is fully online.


The program covers knowledge areas that will be useful for elements of the body of knowledge of major finance certifications, including CFA, FRM, and CFP.


Yes, with advisor approval, students have the opportunity to study on campus for up to 2 courses. They can also take advantage of any on-campus events and may come to campus to use the Pace facilities.

Coursework


Yes. MBA 802 may be waived based on previous coursework. Students must have completed two equivalent courses in their undergraduate studies with grades of B or higher OR completed one equivalent graduate course with a grade of B or higher.


Courses are taught asynchronously.


The online MS in Finance program is 36 credits.

Yes. Students can work with our Career Services office regarding internships and job opportunities.

The Pace Office of Graduate Admission informs applicants of the committee’s decision—denied or accepted—within 2-3 weeks of completed application submission.
