About the Program

You should be proficient in calculus and linear algebra and also have some knowledge of probability and statistics. You are also required to have some experience in computer programming and working with databases. If you don’t have the requisite experience, you must take our online bridge courses in database management systems and programming in Python before starting the MS in Data Science curriculum. See the curriculum page for details.

The data science program was designed to be completed part-time in two years. See our curriculum page for the program structure. Students who choose to take courses full-time can complete the program in a little over one year.
