Students interested in acquiring skills across a span of subjects can earn their online Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies at Pace. We offer three opportunities each year to apply: fall, spring, and summer. This program can be completed 100% online and has a combination of asynchronous and synchronous coursework. We review applications on a rolling basis, so you are welcome to apply any time before the posted deadline. You can expect to receive a decision within one to two weeks of submitting your application. Students are encouraged to submit their materials as soon as possible to process the application more quickly.

Accepted students will receive additional information on how to submit a deposit to secure their place in the program and how to make an appointment with an academic advisor. In addition, accepted transfer students will receive a preliminary Transfer Credit Evaluation shortly after acceptance.

Admission Requirements

For applicants with over 32 credits of prior college experience, we require a minimum transfer GPA of 2.5. If you are a transfer student with a minimum of 24 college credits, you must also provide us with your high school transcript.

Transfer Credits and Professional Experience

Candidates seeking their online BA in Liberal Studies can have up to 90 completed college credits transferred from other institutions. Once enrolled, we will also review prior work/life experiences for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) credits at the request of the student. Online Application

Official Transcripts for All Post-Secondary Coursework

Transcripts should be sent from every post-secondary institution where you have completed coursework. During the application process, unofficial or official transcripts may be submitted for an initial evaluation, but official transcripts must be sent to complete the application for a decision review.

Sending Transcripts
Pace prefers to receive transcripts electronically. Pace University participates in several electronic transcripts networks: Credentials, Parchment Exchange, National Student ClearingHouse, and eSCRIP-SAFE. We recommend you confirm with the prior institution to determine if they participate in any of these networks.

We recommend, whenever possible, to have your official transcript sent electronically directly from the other institution to undergradadmission@pace.edu.

Applicants who have not earned an associate degree at the point of application must also submit the following:

International Students

We welcome applicants from around the world and value their contributions to the classroom. International students whose primary institution did not teach in English and reside outside of the United States are required to submit English proficiency scores. To satisfy the proof of English proficiency requirement, we will accept TOEFL, IELTS, Pearson PTE, Duolingo, Trinity Exam, or Cambridge Exam academic scores..

Application Process for Former Pace Students

Individuals who have previously matriculated into a degree program at Pace University, but did not graduate, are eligible for a modified admission process should they wish to return to complete their degree. Former students will need to begin the process by notifying an admission advisor at degreecompletion@pace.edu or (866) 815-5166 (toll-free) to begin the conversation about returning to Pace.

In addition, you will be asked to provide official transcripts from any institution attended after leaving Pace University.
