Admissions

Students have three opportunities to begin the online MA in Homeland Security each year. For our annual academic calendar and application deadline information, please contact an admission advisor at dysononline@pace.edu.

The admission committee reviews completed applications on a rolling basis and notifies prospective students when their application is under review. We encourage prospective students to submit their application well before the deadline if possible, however, candidates can apply up to two weeks prior to their desired start date.

Admission Requirements

Online MHS candidates are required to hold a four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent from a regionally accredited institution (minimum 3.0 GPA). There are no prerequisites and candidates may apply with an undergraduate degree in any field.

Note: No GMAT or GRE score is required for admission.

Admission Materials

There is no application fee for the online MHS.

Candidates must submit the following materials:

• Completed application
• Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and/or universities. See below for more information.
• Current resume
• Personal statement
• Two (2) letters of recommendation

Transcript Submission Details

All candidates must submit official undergraduate transcripts for all schools where credits were earned toward the conferred degree.

Transcripts are considered official only if they are sent directly to Pace University from the educational institution of origin, or forwarded by:

• Any NACES-accredited translation evaluator (preferred) OR
• The student’s Ministry of Education OR
• A U.S. consular officer OR
• An EducationUSA adviser OR
• The Institute of Foreign Credential Services
